Åsa Lundvik Gustafson

Trained at the Swedish Ballet School, and was then engaged at the Royal Swedish Ballet for five years dancing in both classical and modern ballets such as Don Quijote, Swanlake, A Midsummer Night's Dream, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated and Stoolgame. In 1995-96  Åsa danced with Nye Carte Blanche in Norway, where she worked with Jo Strömgren and Ina Christel Johannesen among others. In 1996 she joined Cullberg Ballet, where she has danced the role of Aurora in Mats Ek's Sleeping Beauty, Jester in Mats Ek’s Swan Lake and roles in works by Philippe Blanchard, Ohad Naharin, Rui Horta, Jens Östberg, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman and others. 

Åsa is on leave of absence since from the season 2012/2013.
